Riverfront Stadium Goes Kablooey
You see that Riverboat on the right? The rich assholes who rented it got great pictures of the stadium destruction. Those of us who showed up on the Kentucky shore at 5 in the morning to set up and froze our asses off got pictures with a fricking Riverboat's ass in them.
Grumble...

It's the best parade I've ever seen.

Missing Pieces #1
gumpiece
Originally uploaded by blotzphoto.

The Missing pieces projects are an attempt to capture the odd feeling one gets when you find an old puzzle piece at the bottom of the closet or behind the couch. Where is it from? What's missing beyond the edges?
I also enjoy the unique way that the irregular framing helps the eye move about the picture in unorthodox ways.
I printed this out at 11x14, mounted it on foamcore and then my lovely wife cut it out w/ an Exacto Knife. Each one is a cast iron bitch to make, yet I'm sure I'll revist the theme again someday.
smilin in snow
Hi and welcome to the Blotz Photo Blog. I'm Lou Doench, or Blotz, and that charming lil thing is my 2 year old daughter Abby.
This was her first snow day of the year and she was fine with it unless any of it came into contact with her skin.
